St Michaels Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated and energetic Teaching Assistant to work within its nursery provision and provide support to its young learners starting from December 2025.
Working Hours: Part Time (32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 39 weeks per year includes Teacher Training days).
We are an open and inclusive primary school educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Our nursery is open to children aged 3 to 4 years and is where our youngest pupils begin their educational journey. Located in the garrison town of Larkhill Wiltshire our setting aims to spark interest ignite a passion for learning and fire up ambition to inspire every child to recognise and exceed expectations. Our staff provide a challenging yet nurturing environment based on our Christian values and we are committed to learning outside the classroom as much as inside; with regular trips planned and visitors invited in to help make the learning relevant and linked to both our local community and the wider May 2022 we joined Acorn Education Trust which has provided exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.
As a Teaching Assistant within our nursery you will be a pro-active Early Years Professional able to inspire and excite young curious minds and ensure the delivery of safe high-quality education and care for all our children.
