We are recruiting on behalf of a local nursery in Morley for a dedicated and hard working Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis. • Work closely with children aged 0-5 years looking after daily needs such as feeding nappy changing and toileting.
  

• Act as a key person to an allocated number of children and their families.
  

• Plan provide and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs.
  

• Observe assess and record childrens learning and development progress.
  

• Ensure standards of health and safety hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
  

• Maintain the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
  

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
  

• Attend regular team meetings and additional training events as identified by the manager.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Qualification: A minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early years.
  

• Experience: Previous experience within an early years setting.
  

• Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS welfare learning and development requirements.
  

• Communication: The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of people both written and verbally.
  

• Skills: Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  

• Personal Qualities: A resilient patient and hard working individual with a positive and flexible approach.
  

• Commitment: A dedicated team player who is reflective and evaluative of their own practice.
