Roupell Park Resident Management Organisation one of the first of its kind in Lambeth is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as a Level 2 Housing & Property Apprentice. Apprenticeship Summary:
- Salary:12 an hour
- Working Week:Monday & Thursday 10am 5pm Tuesday 10am 4pm Wednesday 9am 5pm Friday 9am 4pm including a 1 hour break
- Hours:30 hours per week
- Online apprenticeship training supported by our skilled tutors
- Level 2 Housing & Property Apprenticeship standard qualification
- Location:Community Office Brockham Drive Roupell Park Estate

The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Housing & Property Management Apprentice to join our team at Roupell Park this role you will gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of high-quality housing management services to our tenants and leaseholders across the Roupell Park Estate. You will work closely with our Housing Officer and wider team learning how to manage tenancies support residents and maintain our estate to the highest standards.
During your apprenticeship you will gain experience across several key areas of housing operations including:
- Tenancy and leasehold management assisting with tenancy sustainment and rent collection.
- Customer service responding to resident enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Estate services supporting inspections repairs and maintenance coordination.
- Community engagement helping to organise resident events and surveys to improve satisfaction.
This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills gain valuable housing sector experience and work towards a nationally recognised qualification while making a real impact in your local community.
Main Duties:
- Assist the Housing Officer in providing efficient customer-focused housing management services.
- Handle tenant enquiries ensuring a right first time approach and referring issues appropriately.
- Support rent and service charge monitoring including following up on arrears and payments.
- Help log track and follow up repair requests and estate maintenance issues.
- Participate in estate inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Assist in managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases maintaining accurate case records.
- Provide administrative support ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Support community engagement initiatives such as resident meetings and satisfaction surveys.
- Promote equality diversity and safeguarding within all aspects of the role.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Estate Director.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic about housing community work and helping residents.
- Detail-oriented organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively with residents colleagues and external partners.
- Proactive and willing to learn new skills in a dynamic supportive environment.
They will also have:
- Good literacy numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office essential).
- A strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- An understanding of equality diversity and inclusion principles.
- A positive attitude initiative and a desire to contribute to our community-led organisation.
Training and Development:
As an apprentice you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:
- Study towards a relevant qualification Level 2 Housing & Property Management Diploma.
- On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals.
- Regular review meetings to track progress and development.
