Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineerwith deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices cloud automation and infrastructure reliability. This role goes beyond operations support you will architect implement and continuously improve our pipelines deployment strategies and monitoring systems to deliver resilient secure and high-performing solutions at scale. You will be a key technical authority and a mentor to junior engineers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Write automation scripts in Python and Bash.
- Architect and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
- Define and enforce infrastructure security and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with developers to improve the software delivery lifecycle and developer experience.
- Lead innovation in build automation containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
- Implement and maintain advanced monitoring logging and alerting systems for mission-critical applications.
- Participate in architectural reviews ensuring DevOps principles are embedded in system design.
- Drive incident response for high-priority issues including after-hours escalations.
- Mentor engineers on DevOps cloud and security practices.
Qualifications:
- 7 years in DevOps or related engineering roles with strong leadership in technical execution.
- Expert-level experience in AWS(CloudFormation CloudWatch CloudTrail ECS/EKS Lambda IAM).
- Advanced scripting skills (Python Shell PowerShell or similar).
- Proven experience with GitHub Actions Jenkins and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Puppet Chef).
- Strong background in containerization (Docker ECS Kubernetes) and modern observability tools (Grafana Prometheus).
- Experience integrating security scanning tools (e.g. Veracode SonarQube) into CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of branching strategies and large-scale version control.
- Must be located in Phoenix AZ Indianapolis IN or New York and be willing to commute into office 3 days a week.
