AECOM is seeking a CAD Specialist II (Infrastructure flood protection) for a civil/structural technical role working with engineers and project managers on a variety of projects within the Dams Levees Channels Pump Stations and Water Resources markets. Candidates can expect a diverse set of project challenges focused on heavy civil grading for large levees dams access roads and stormwater management.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads with an emphasis on complex and advanced surface modeling capabilities.
- Ability to take general direction and simple sketches from engineers to then develop design criteria and progress through all stages of design.
- Civil/Site- Site development access roads drainage channels jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional dams slope stabilization retaining walls detention ponds land development surface drainage and stream restoration.
- Prepare detailed calculation packages for earthwork quantities.
- Ability to process a variety of data sources to build existing base surfaces from LiDAR survey points breaklines DEMs and contours.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and the ability to transform data from one system to another.
- Data management of survey and client data through the project life cycle.
- Experience with Revit Advanced Steel and/or Pro Structure with the emphasis on complex and advanced infrastructure models.
- Meeting with clients for project kickoff ongoing design review and project close out.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of design experience for heavy civil flood protection pump station and landfill projects.
