Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professionals. As an Intern Mechanical Design and Process Development you will support the following key tasks in collaboration with experienced team members.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
- Conduct in-depth literature and patent reviews on EV battery disassembly & repair technologies.
- Develop and evaluate cost-effective concepts for EV battery disassembly and repair operations.
- Prototype relevant disassembly and repair process modules or mechanical tools or solutions.
- Define relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to justify economical and technical benefits.
- Validate developed concepts through experimental prototyping and testing.
- Prepare technical documentation progress reports and presentations and support demonstrations for project stakeholders.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (January 2026 onwards).
- Undergraduate/graduate studies in mechanical engineering electrical engineering production engineering mechatronics or computer science.
- Experience in mechanical design along with exposure to software development.
- Understanding of manufacturing process development and tool design principles.
- Proficiency in Python programming for data analysis process simulation or tool automation.
- Familiar with EV battery systems disassembly workflows or mechanical workshop operations.
- Self-motivated able to work independently and great problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
