Purpose of the Role: Are you passionate about neuroscience and keen to make a real impact As a Clinical Specialist you will:
- Provide expert product services to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within multidisciplinary teams.
- Support HCPs in developing their knowledge of AbbVie neuroscience products and approved indications.
- Deliver training to HCPs to ensure confident use of designated treatments and devices within approved indications.
Reporting to: Business Unit Manager Neuroscience
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across teams to identify HCPs who will benefit from advanced technical product support.
- Deliver tailored clinical support in-clinic such as reconstitution injection technique guidance pain paradigm education and muscle identification using ultrasound.
- Provide product education through multiple channels to boost HCP knowledge confidence and clinical understanding.
- Deliver ongoing clinical and educational support fostering a positive experience with AbbVie products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs nationally and within key accounts advocating for AbbVies neuroscience portfolio.
- Be a valued resourcerecognized for delivering high-quality education and support.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of specialty disease area AbbVie products and the competitive marketplace.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize target accounts share insights and help shape national and territory account plans.
- Proactively identify opportunities to add value overcome obstacles and respond to key business opportunities.
- Monitor and review actions as part of account planning sharing best practices.
- Mentor and train team colleagues through sharing expertise.
- Always operate with the highest ethical standards and act as an AbbVie ambassador.
Qualifications :
- Qualified Healthcare Professional (Nurse Physiotherapist Physician and/or Physician Assistant)
- Post-registration qualification (Degree/MSc/PhD) desirable
- IPHA compliant/qualified desirable
- Experience working within diverse cross-functional teams
- Influential communicator and relationship builder
- Proven neurology experience in a clinical environment preferably as an injector (desirable)
- Confident presenter at clinical meetings (national regional local) desirable
Skills & Knowledge:
- Practical understanding of the local healthcare system including relevant policies and protocols
- Neurology product therapeutic competitive and scientific knowledge
- Proficient with business tools IT and virtual engagement platforms
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Highly skilled in planning prioritization organization and problem-solving
