Job Summary
- Distill conversations with users into actionable Epics and User Stories and groom technical implementation with engineers.
- Be the single source of truth for technical delivery and estimates
- Recommend priorities to features and enhancements based on subject matter expertise
- Work with technology and infrastructure architect and technical engineering counterparts to understand the risks benefits and tradeoffs to technical decisions relating to data consumption.
- Protect engineering time and backlog with thoughtful prioritization
- Prepare and route non-standard intake requests to Product and Engineering Leads for product decisioning
Qualifications :
Required
- 7 years relevant experience.
- Experience with Jira Confluence.
- Product Management experience
- Expert at Jiras JQL Excel Power BI.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of tenancy models especially for Azure and GCS.
Desired
- Ability to work autonomously as a lead within a specialized Data Platform business management function and provide work direction seasoned specialized knowledge advice and guidance to various stakeholders and team members.
- Confidence and ability to oversee and work independently on a variety of complex initiatives end-to-end (primarily on short- to medium- term issues (6-12 months) requiring specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross-functional processes (within your own area of expertise).
- Thought leadership and/or industry knowledge specific (but not limited to) your own area of expertise.
- Willingness and strength in providing guidance and influencing multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains.
- Basic Firewalls and Networking concepts such as awareness that TCP .
Education:
- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
