Were seeking Laborer Foreperson for an opportunity starting December 1st 2025 in North York Ontario.
During the month of December work will take place at the Metro site followed by maintenance roles across the Greater Toronto Area (Halton Region) starting January 2026.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8-hour days
Possibility of weekend overtime based on client needs
Orientation (8 hours) paid
Pay Range: $47.87Hr.-$50.39/Hr.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direction and coordination to crew members to ensure safe and efficient execution of work assist in planning daily activities review hazards verify materials permits and equipment and communicate progress updates to supervision.
- Perform general labour tasks including material handling equipment and tool maintenance trenching snow and debris removal and site cleanup while supporting skilled trades with installation maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and piping systems.
- Ensure safety and compliance by participating in hazard assessments toolbox meetings and safe work planning maintaining permit compliance and taking action to address unsafe conditions while following FLINT and client standards.
- Inspect and verify work quality against FLINT and client expectations prior to sign-off assist with technical tasks such as positioning machinery assembling components and supporting hydrotesting or pneumatic testing activities.
- Maintain documentation and foster teamwork by keeping accurate records of timesheets inventory and safety documentation encouraging positive communication resolving on-site issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working in Fuel terminals with experience supporting or leading small crews considered an advantage.
- Meet mandatory safety ticket requirements including CSTS-2020 Aerial Work Platform Confined Space Entry Fall Protection WHMIS. and Petroleum Mechanic 3 training (optional).
- Experience obtaining managing and completing work permits with proper sign-off and working safely on live systems using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and isolation protocols.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions and proficient in English for both written and verbal communication.
- Must have reliable transportation to site a valid drivers license and a clean 5-year Drivers Abstract with fewer than 6 demerits.
