Job Summary

Whats the job

Were looking for a Payroll Administrator to help ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for various employee groups (Hourly Salaried Day Rate Union/non-union) across multiple provinces in Canada.

What Youll Be Doing

As part of our small but mighty team of Payroll professionals you will primarily manage a specific pay group while collaborating closely with other payroll teams and.

  • Validate and maintain employee master data in ADP for hires changes terminations and transfers.
  • Partner with HR on payroll-related matters.
  • Capture time entries create batches and import data into ADP.
  • Prepare calculate and process payroll deductions retro pay adjustments terminations ROEs and travel allowances.
  • Audit and balance payroll registers for assigned pay groups.
  • Generate and distribute pay period and monthly reports.
  • Prepare union reporting and payment requisitions.
  • Maintain strict compliance with payroll processes and audit trails.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and escalate HR-related questions appropriately.
  • Support year-end reconciliation and reporting.

This role is fully remote.


Qualifications :

Who are we looking for

  • High school diploma (PCP designation bonus points!).
  • 3 to 5 years of payroll experience ideally in a similar industry.
  • Familiarity with ADP or other payroll systems - bonus points for Dayforce!
  • Solid Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Standards across Canada.
  • Detail-oriented deadline-driven and confidentiality champion.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you speak French bienvenu!
