Job Summary
- Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and the dynamics of our target markets

- Strong critical thinking and vision with the ability to articulate and implement improvements in processes and products
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the payments industry with a focus on card authorization
- Deep understanding of Visa and Mastercard product rules and technical specifications
- Familiarity with authorization flows ISO 8583 messaging and integration with acquirers and issuers
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and make evidence-based decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Intermediate to advanced English (for reading technical documentation and interacting with global partners
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Own the product roadmap for card authorization ensuring alignment with the companys strategic goals.
- Act as the main point of contact between engineering business compliance teams issuers and external partners (such as card networks and acquirers).
- Ensure products comply with the latest Visa and Mastercard rules and updates.
- Monitor and analyze authorization performance metrics (approval rates declines fraud etc.) and drive continuous improvements.
- Participate in technical and strategic forums with card networks and partners to anticipate regulatory and technological changes.
- Conduct discovery with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Define and prioritize functional and technical requirements in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ensure product quality including non-functional aspects such as integrity resilience and scalability.
