Sun Mountain Lodge is seeking a friendly detail-oriented and service-driven individual to join our Front Office Team as aFront Desk & Reservations Associate. This position features asplit schedulesupporting both the Front Desk and Reservations departments. The ideal candidate will enjoy a balance of guest-facing interactions and behind-the-scenes coordinationplaying an essential role in delivering a seamless guest experience from the initial inquiry through check-out.
Job Overview
As a Front Desk & Reservations Associate youll work collaboratively with both teams to ensure smooth communication efficient operations and exceptional service. This hybrid-style role requires adaptability strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding the Lodges high standards of hospitality across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately including billing and payment processing.
Provide knowledgeable information about lodge amenities dining spa services and local activities.
Handle guest requests concerns and special accommodations promptly and courteously.
Maintain a clean organized and welcoming front desk environment.
Coordinate with Housekeeping Maintenance and other departments to ensure timely service delivery.
Reservations Responsibilities:
Answer and respond to phone and email inquiries regarding availability rates and packages.
Accurately process new bookings modifications and cancellations.
Maintain detailed guest profiles and special request notes to ensure personalized service.
Communicate reservation details across departments to support operational readiness.
Contribute to revenue and occupancy goals through thoughtful upselling and accurate data management.
Assist in monitoring OTA and website bookings for accuracy as directed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hospitality reservations or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude in all guest and team interactions.
Flexibility to work across both departments and adapt to changing schedules including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a high-volume atmosphere calmly and professionally.
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time.
Salary Range:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
