Job Summary/Overview
This role willprovide technical product and application training along with comprehensive support to build customer confidence and loyalty in specifying selling andmaintainingMagnetek Elevator products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide training and technical support tocustomers and contractorson ourelevatordrives and controls products
- Offertimelyand effective technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for product-related issues
- Collaboratewith Magnetek Aftermarket Support todelivertrainingandresolve customer problems
- Drive market share growth byidentifyingopportunities for competitive conversions
- Travel as necessary to support customers provide start-upassistanceandachievesales objectives
- Provide reports asrequired
- Perform others related duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills Competencies and Abilities
- Technical competenceinelevator mechanicals and/orcontrollersand their application in the Elevatormarket
- Technical competence on Magnetek products and their interface with elevator controllers
- Working knowledge and experience with MS Office
- Possess aptitude to become an expert on elevator drives and controls
- Good communicationskills and customer-focused mentality
- Self-motivated and ability to manage time and priorities
Required Qualifications
- Being local toNew York City area is preferred
- Minimum 4years ofexperience in the Elevator market(preferred)demonstratingfamiliarity with controls and drives
- Ability to travelwith an expectation of 50% travel
