The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. NetworkEngineer at our office located in Dallas TX.

The Sr. NetworkEngineer is a senior professional responsible for focusing on designing implementing and managing network solutions for on-premise and within cloud environments. Responsible for ensuring the performance security and scalability of cloud-based networks as well as integrating these solutions with existing on-premise systems with a heavy emphasis on Zero Trust. Works closely with various cross-functional teams to support cloud infrastructure automate network tasks and optimize resources for cost-effectiveness while maintaining high availability and disaster recovery protocols.

• Leads the development and maintenance of secure scalable network architectures across cloud environments.
• Drives the design of advanced cloud network strategies for enterprise-level applications and services.
• Architects and manages hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises systems with cloud infrastructures.
• Oversees the implementation of security best practices including advanced firewall configurations and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Continuously monitors troubleshoots and optimizes cloud network performance for maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Spearheads the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate network resource management and scaling.
• Provides strategic oversight for analyzing and optimizing cloud network resources to reduce operational costs.
• Designs and maintains disaster recovery solutions to ensure the continuity of critical business functions during network failures.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years minimum prior relevant experience
