Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week Every other weekend Rotating holidays
Shifts: 07:3016:00 08:0016:30 14:0022:30 15:0023:30
Pay Rate: $54$59/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse IV Therapyfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient care using the nursing process ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Administer and monitor responses to all medications.
Perform venipuncture and vascular access procedures including midline and PICC line management.
Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff orientation and education.
Utilize computerized nursing systems proficiently.
Participate in staff meetings continuing education and nursing committees.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Represent the hospital professionally and uphold patient confidentiality.
Consistently provide excellent service to patients families and colleagues.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Massachusetts RN license required.
BLS certification required.
Prior IV therapy experience required.
Proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns (within 6 months).
Experience with PICC insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs preferred.
Must achieve proficiency in PICC placement within 1 year.
IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years.
BSN preferred.
Must pass facility pharmacology exam.
