Job Summary

Title: Pharmacist
Location: Panama City FL
Schedule: Full-Time / Day Shifts

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our clinical team. The Pharmacist will ensure safe effective and appropriate medication use while providing direct support to patients providers and staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment communication skills and a commitment to high-quality care.

      Responsibilities:

      • Review interpret and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
      • Dispense medications in accordance with federal and state regulations and organizational procedures
      • Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers
      • Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize pharmacotherapy
      • Monitor medication therapies and adjust based on clinical guidelines and patient response
      • Maintain accurate and thorough patient medication records
      • Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and interns in daily workflow
      • Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and immunization administration (as permitted by state law)
      • Ensure compliance with all regulatory accreditation and policy standards
      • Participate in quality improvement safety initiatives and formulary management

      Qualifications:

      • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh) required
      • Active and unrestricted State Pharmacist License
      • Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics therapeutics and drug information resources
      • Excellent communication documentation and patient interaction skills
      • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
      • Prior clinical or retail pharmacy experience preferred

      Preferred Experience (Optional):

      • Certification in Immunization (if required in state)
      • Previous experience in Hospital / Retail / LTC / Ambulatory / FQHC settings

      Residency training or board certification (BCPS BCACP etc.) a plus
