Head of Insurance

Saab Insurance is part of Group Treasury and responsible for Saabs comprehensive and global insurance programmes. The team is based in Linköping and is the centre of expertise for insurance and risk management across the Saab group.

We are looking for a new Head of Insurance to lead the team of insurance specialists. The role is responsible for defining developing and procuring group-wide insurance programmes including determining levels of risk retention. The Head of Insurance is the focal point within the Saab Group providing solid and timely support to the business units as well as acting as the point of contact for the insurance market and insurance brokers.

An important part of the role is also to drive and participate in Saabs proactive risk management and loss prevention work together with Group Security.

The Head of Insurance reports to the Group Treasurer and is part of the Treasury management team.

Qualifications

You have a university degree or equivalent work experience preferably from a similar position at a large multinational corporation or insurance company. Experience from underwriting and expertise in both property and casualty lines of insurance are valuable for this position. We also value strong leadership skills and experience from previous manager roles.

You have an excellent ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
