Description

Position Overview
The front desk receptionist is responsible for providing an optimal guest experience through greeting
visitors and clients answering phones and additional administrative responsibilities assigned by the
Branch Director.

Schedule

  • Part Time (Monday-Friday)
    • Summer Hours: 6:45-9:45am
    • School Year:8-11am

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and direct all visitors politely and professionally including but not limited to caregiversyouth deliveries counseling appointments board members community partners anddonations.
  • Answer telephones provide general information and refer callers to other staff or voicemail.
  • Assist with building rentals.
  • Greet and check-in members during non-school days and summer programs.
  • Interact with and assist youth as needed.
  • Data entry for program tracking and incident/behavior forms.
  • Maintain accurate files and records.
  • Assist with maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Collect membership fees.
  • Work on special projects as directed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to align goals and strategies and to foster aculture of cooperation and teamwork.
  • Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the effective implementation of continuousimprovement processes.
  • Support the ethical use of data to make decisions in a timely and informed manner.
  • Represent the organization to the community in a way that enhances the organizations profilebuilds its reputation supports its strategic priorities and advances its mission.
  • Contribute to operational goals and objectives that align with and advance the organizationsstrategic priorities.
  • Strive to meet and surpass the expectations of youth families staff volunteers Board funders and other key stakeholders.
  • Focus efforts on promoting equity engaging in trauma-informed and continuous improvementpractices and doing what is needed to help the communities the organization serves becomegreat places for all children and youth to grow and thrive.
  • Ensure current safety practices meet or exceed organizational requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new or amended policies practices and processes that further mitigate and minimize safety risks.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence aligning your efforts with the organizations valuesmission strategic priorities and policies.
  • Participate in available coaching opportunities regular one-on-one meetings with supervisorperformance evaluations and goal setting.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and development by following talent developmentrequirements and creating and following a professional development plan.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The front desk receptionist requires a majority combination of the following:

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent or associates degree preferred
  • 1-2 years reception or front office experience.
  • Demonstrated record of strong customer service skills.
