POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics Golf Courses is seeking a Director of Golf Instruction.
Responsibilities include:
- Design implement and oversee all golf instruction programs tailored to all skill levels (private lessons group clinics junior programs etc.)
- Promote instructional programs through social media email marketing website content and community events.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to all students and facility patrons.
- Act as a golf club-fitting specialist and work with our vendors to properly custom-fit our guests.
- Assist with the Golf Shop counter point of sale operation when needed.
- Assist with merchandise orders displays and overall sales.
- Assist with tournaments leagues and events when needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree 1 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.SALARY & BENEFITS
