Job Summary

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for but not limited to overseeing day-to-day operations within the shipping department managing the packaging and delivery of healthcare products and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of shipping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Print shipping labels and package prescriptions with precision and speed.

  • Maintain a steady supply of essential shipping materials such as envelopes labels and ice packs.

  • Prepare ice packs by freezing them in advance for safe transit of pharmaceutical products.

  • Manage the loading and unloading of pallets safely and efficiently.

  • Crimp vials to secure closures and safeguard contents.

  • Assemble syringes and swabs in ziplock bags according to prescribed guidelines.

  • Assist in waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in the shipping area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; meticulous attention to detail; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience operating a pallet jack.

Preferred

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and various tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person over the phone or via virtual meeting

  • Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as typing.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day.
