Requisition Summary
PACCAR has an exciting Human Resources summer internship opening at our global headquarters in Bellevue WA. The selected candidate will work directly with HR professionals gaining exposure and experience in multiple HR functions.
As a Human Resources Intern you will:
- Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
- Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
- Develop mentoring relationships with HR leaders
- Gain valuable hands-on experience
- Expand your professional network
The internship is scheduled to begin in between May or June 2026.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Support the Compensation and HR Shared Services team in new and ongoing projects that relate to HRs strategic goals and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. Potential assignments may include:
- Assistance with global national or regional compensation market surveys
- Analyzing results of compensation surveys
- Ensuring company compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Create and present materials on data projects to management and business partners.
- Review audit reports and assist with compliance audits.
- Learn how to automate manual processes using Microsoft Office Tableau or other automation methods.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Competencies

- Positive can-do attitude attention to detail high expectations of quality customer service oriented desire to learn and develop skillset.
- Excellent communication skills written and oral.
- Analytical thinking.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to complete projects on-time and handle ad-hoc assignments.
- Ability to maintain confidentialityrequired.
- Skilled with technology. (e.g. MS SharePoint MS Office Tableau)
- Thrive in a professional business environment.
Education
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Progress.
