About the Role

Were seeking a motivated and detail-oriented L5 Analyst to join our EMEA Operations Control team in Dublin. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting Scotiabanks Global Wholesale Operations by delivering accurate management information reconciliation processes and operational controls across the London and Dublin business lines. Youll work in a dynamic high-performing environment with exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and the opportunity to make a real impact across the EMEA region.

What Youll Do
Perform and investigate reconciliation processes across fixed income equity repo and other financial instruments.
Complete daily regulatory reporting tasks (e.g. CASS reconciliations SMM PTTR CPR) ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
Support internal and external audits by coordinating requirements and follow-up actions.
Prepare and analyse management information and key performance metrics for senior stakeholders.
Assist with risk issue tracking reporting and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Work closely with Technology Compliance and Risk to ensure robust internal control and reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with management to deliver timely accurate reporting across various regulatory and operational domains.

What Youll Bring
Solid understanding of front middle and back-office functions as well as reconciliation principles.
Familiarity with industry regulations conventions and best practices within global markets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skillscomfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with good Excel proficiency.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and collaborative mindset with a commitment to high standards of delivery and compliance.
