We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Foreman to lead and manage our fabrication this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fabrication department ensuring that all projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in coordinating with other departments maintaining safety protocols and optimizing production processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication excellent leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. As a Fabrication Foreman you will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members troubleshooting issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience as a fabricator welder or in a similar supervisory role within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques welding processes and machinery operation.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
Relevant certifications in welding fabrication or safety (e.g. OSHA certification) may be required.
High School Education or equivalent. 2-3 years relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of Hydraulic Workover and Snubbing Equipment preferred.
Must maintain welding specifications.
Technical Requirements
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work from sketches prints operation sheets preliminary drawings and written/verbal instructions.
Ability to set up and operate all welding equipment.
Ability to organise and communicate information.
Advanced use of hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders gas welders and gas torches.
Use power tool / handheld operation.
Ability to initiate coordinate and deliver projects as per company standards and client specifications.
Intermediate IT skillset. Proficient in utilization of Microsoft office software.
