YOUR NEW ROLE

Were seeking a passionate safety professional two days per week to provide strategic and practical guidance across our Production & Events portfolio. Youll champion a proactive approach to risk management and nurture a positive safety culture among our teams resident companies hirers and contractors.

Reporting to the Event Safety Manager youll bring expertise in safety and risk management industry insight and the interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships at all levels.

ARE YOU THE ONE

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (Diploma or higher) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a professional WHS role within theatre production or major events environments.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply WHS legislation codes of practice and standards with a solid understanding of Safety Management Systems and auditing (auditing qualifications desirable).
  • Experience managing and delivering WHS projects with strong problem-solving skills and capacity for lateral thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor and educate others deliver safety inductions and work effectively in a team environment.
