The Senior Accountant will play a key role in executing the close process with precision and accuracy. This position oversees accounting reconciliation and reporting for fixed assets commissions lease accounting and pre-paid expenses ensuring timely and accurate financial operations across departments.Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounting for corporate fixed assets leases and sales commissions
- Coordinate with various departments for timely and accurate expense accruals
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with key SOX controls
- Assist with external audits and special projects as needed
Qualifications:- Minimum of three years of accounting experience ideally in public accounting
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required
- CPA track or parts preferred
- ERP financial system experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
