Job Summary

Work Schedule:
Program starts February 9th. Full time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30pm for 6 weeks.
Pay:
- A competitive starting pay of $18.25 per hour/year to obtain your Certification as a Nursing Assistant through the Sate of Wisconsin.

We are seeking individuals for the UW Health Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program. The program will begin February 9th 2026.
- Participate in direct patient care tasks processes and procedures to assist members of a patient care team in providing a broad range of healthcare services to our patients as Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting. This includes assisting with activities of daily living patient transport and stocking.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with other hospital staff visitors patients and their family members.
Upon successful completion of the program and placement on registry participants will be interviewed and may transfer to units throughout the hospitals in available NA positions.
