The Welding Lead is responsible for joining materials using proper welding techniques to meet customer requirements and quality standards. This position requires strong technical ability attention to detail and a commitment to safety teamwork and continuous improvement.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct welding process for each product.
Select appropriate welding equipment and determine the proper welding sequence.
Weld components to meet customer specifications and verify weld integrity using non-destructive testing methods.
Accurately record completed quantities and production data in the ERP system.
Measure final products to ensure conformance with customer blueprints.
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area.
Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance as assigned.
Promote safety environmental responsibility and continuous quality improvement in accordance with company policies.
Exhibit leadership through integrity initiative and teamwork; foster a respectful and positive workplace culture.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
35 years of welding experience or completion of a 4-year accredited welding program.
Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of weld symbols.
Preferred:
Welding certification from an accredited institution.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions blueprints product and component specifications data sheets and procedure manuals.
Pay Range: $19 $30 per hour based on experience
