Client Relationship and Development:
o Leads team interactions with clients including clients at senior levels
o Anticipates and proactively addresses clients needs
o Earns clients respect and appreciation
Client Delivery:
o Leads client delivery teams
o Manages projects and drives projects to completion
Value and Expertise:
o Establishes focus area and concentrates deployment and delivery in that
area.
o Establishes track record in focus area.
o Begins to contribute thought leadership and IP in focus area.
People Development and Learning:
o Mentors and develops consultants on delivery teams. Ensures team
members have skills needed to execute and deepen their expertise while on
the project.
o Has counselees and meets them regularly. Helps them understand strengths
and weaknesses set realistic targets and establish development plans that
balance firm needs and personal aspirations.
o Completes all HR operations (IDP EFF MY YE) for self and counselees
carefully and in timely fashion.
Practice and Firm Development:
o Plays a key role in practice or firm-building activities
o Takes bottom-line responsibility for firm building deliverables or activities
Consulting Behaviours:
o Develops focus area or specialization. Builds personal brand.
o Leads and mentors others. Cares about development of junior consultants
and invests in their progression.
o Grows Infosys network outside of Consulting. Leverages relationships with
CSG and other delivery units to enhance client solutions and identify new
opportunities for Consulting work
o Reads situations and adjusts personal approach accordingly. Adopts
behavior and language appropriate to the situation to stay effective in
different environments.
o Stays abreast of market developments in practice or discipline. Identifies
threats and opportunities and positions to meet them; proactively learns new
skills and abilities to stay relevant.
Core Consulting Skills:
o Masters basic project management skills. Manages scope timeline
resources deliverables and value to client and Infosys. Reports status
tracks and resolves issues manages risks.
o Masters team building and team leadership skills. Creates high-performing
teams composed of diverse skills sets and personality types. Manages team
dynamics to ensure collaboration and results. Continually improves team
performance.
o Develops influence and persuasion skills; influences senior clients on
project; tests insights and recommendation with senior management and
persuades them to course of action.
Exposure Start gaining exposure to these competencies
Leadership:
o Leads delivery teams effectively providing direction guidance motivation
course correction and air cover as appropriate.
o Supports development of innovative thinking
o Understands the Infosys Consulting business drivers and KPIs needed to
build an effective and successful business
o Represents Infosys through appropriate application of Infosys sales and
marketing materials/publications (service offerings blog posts etc.).
Sales:
o Supports APs and Partners in pursuit and proposal work.
o Identifies opportunities from client work and relationships; raises them to
appropriate partner or AP for action
