Opportunity Overview
Test Repair Operator
Project Duration: 6 months
Test/Repair Operators operates equipment systems and infrastructures required for testing Teradyne products and executing test processes while adhering to quality standards. This temporary role will focus on but not limited to SATADOM firmware update reprogramming.
- Perform incoming and outgoing visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)
- Perform assembly and disassembly of PCBAs
- Run required test processes including activities such as (but not limited to) installing PCBA into testers attaching/disconnecting interface and power supply cables installing device interface boards and running the appropriate test programs
- Perform repair on low-complex PCBA failures
- Perform final preparation of PCBAs and shipping to final quality assurance (FQA) team
- Collaborate with Engineers for process and quality improvements

- Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates
- Detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Knowledgeable in basic electronics
- Knowledgeable in operating basic test equipment such as a multimeter
- Knowledgeable in basic soldering
