D-Cloud is part of the Duett Software Group offering sustainable secure and sovereign cloud solutions in a hybrid setup. We play a key role in developing and maintaining the Groups digital ecosystem and work across teams in a flat and inclusive organization where every contribution matters.
In we are modernizing our entire data center and renewing our service portfolio to strengthen our position as a hybrid cloud and managed services provider. Our goal is to deliver true hybrid and private cloud solutions to both internal and external customers supported by consulting services managed operations and software resale.
Our annual turnover is approximately NOK 90 million and we are currently 25 employees organized into 4 teams: Sales Operations Solutions and Project.
Role Objective
We are seeking a Senior Solution Sales Manager to lead the growth of our hybrid sovereign private cloud and managed IT services this leadership role you will set the standard by leading from the frontpersonally engaging in sales activities mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and healthy competition. You will attract and develop top talent shape our go-to-market approach and ensure the team has the skills and tools needed to exceed their targets.
You will take a strategic role in selling consulting managed services data center hosting and hybrid private cloud solutions to both enterprise and public sector clients.
This position is ideal for a high-performing experienced sales leader with strong leadership skills who combines strong commercial skills with deep technical understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive D-Clouds Business Development strategy leading and developing the team
- Build a culture within the sales team that combines healthy competition with a collaborative and mission-led approach.
- Ensure that the team has the right competences and capabilities needed to reach their targets.
- Lead from the front. This includes personal sales budget and engaging with prospects qualifying leads and closing deals.
- Lead the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and qualification to closing complex multi-million NOK contracts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and technical stakeholders aligning D-Clouds services with customer business goals.
- Drive hybrid cloud solution sales including sovereign private cloud managed services and consulting engagements.
- Develop go-to-market strategies in cooperation with partners including Microsoft and hardware vendors.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations Solutions Security) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and grow strategic accounts ensuring long-term relationships and recurring revenue streams.
- Maintain market insight on competitors and emerging technologies to position D-Clouds portfolio effectively.
Your Profile
- 10 years of enterprise IT sales experience preferably in hybrid/private cloud managed services or data center solutions.
- Proven track record of building and leading a sales team
- A relevant technical or business degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical understanding of private hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Nutanix Azure VMware etc.).
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals.
- Executive-level communication skillsable to engage with senior decision-makers and translate technology into business value.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
