Job Summary
A high-performing secondary school in Bedford is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to join their DT department immediately.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing materials for Resistant Materials Graphics Engineering & Product Design
Maintaining equipment including 3D printers laser cutters and workshop machines
Supporting students during practical project work
Ensuring a safe working environment in line with H&S guidelines
Managing stock ordering supplies and organising materials
Assisting teachers with demonstrations and resource development
The department values creativity problem-solving and high-quality practical outcomes.
