Job Summary
Do you want to work in a collegiate Independent School in Birmingham and lead a Year 3 class from January 2026 This Independent School welcomes a reflective creative Year 3 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time basis. The Year 3 Teacher will be invited to planning sessions ahead of January 2026 will attend induction in January 2026 and will commence teaching from January 2026 as the Year 3 Teacher. The Independent School ethos emphasises small classes deep subject knowledge and a personalised professional pathway for each Year 3 Teacher.
A week in the life of the Year 3 Teacher
Mornings: the Year 3 Teacher leads structured reading and maths sessions that prioritise retrieval and vocabulary development. Afternoons: the Year 3 Teacher runs enquiry-based foundation topics practical science and creative projects. The Year 3 Teacher will run interventions lead small groups and work with families to support progress. The Year 3 Teacher will prepare schemes prior to January 2026 and implement them from January 2026.

Person specification - Year 3 Teacher
We are looking for a Year 3 Teacher with QTS confident KS2 practice and a collaborative mindset. The Year 3 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and teaching from January 2026 as the Full-Time Year 3 Teacher.
