Job Summary

Technical Business Analyst Banking

Location: London UK (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Contract / Full-time

Experience- 5 Yrs

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in banking and financial services to support Project delivery using Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams translating complex banking requirements into actionable GenAI use cases and functional specifications.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business units (e.g. Risk Compliance Operations Retail Banking) to identify opportunities for GenAI applications.

2. Gather analyze and document business and technical requirements for GenAI-driven solutions.

3. Work closely with AI engineers and product managers to define solution scope and success criteria.

4. Develop user stories process flows and functional specifications for GenAI models and tools.

5. Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies for AI integration into existing banking systems.

6. Support model evaluation testing and validation from a business perspective.

7. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align on requirements and priorities.

8. Ensure compliance with data governance privacy and regulatory standards in AI implementations.

9. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services (minimum 8 years).

2. Strong understanding of banking processes products and regulatory environment.

3. Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI projects (e.g. LLMs chatbots)

4. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

5. Familiarity with data structures APIs and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

6. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA Confluence.

7. Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
