Job Description
The Registered Nurse Telemetry delivers coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process. The RN supervises and directs the activities of nursing staff and coordinates interdisciplinary care while utilizing critical thinking clinical expertise and independent judgment.
This department only includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses. Float Pool nurses working a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked.
Requirements
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Day shift (36 48 hours per week)
- Experience: Must have TELE experience; candidates must be comfortable floating
- System Experience: Must have Cerner experience
- RTO: 0 3 days only
- Holidays: Not permitted
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute Care Facility Experience: Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - Required
- ACLS - Required
