Job Summary:
As a Call Center Representative (CSR) for a leading dental benefits provider youll serve as the frontline support for customers and dental professionals-resolving inquiries processing claims and ensuring exceptional service. This fully remote Maryland-based contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a long-term healthcare project while developing expertise in dental and health insurance. Your communication troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are essential for delivering accurate information and maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer and provider inquiries across multiple channels (phone email chat web portal)
- Resolve coordination of benefits enrollment third-party liability and claims attachment issues
- Accurately interpret and communicate insurance coverage eligibility and claims processes
- Document all customer interactions thoroughly in the system
- Educate members and dental professionals on benefits claims payment and authorizations
- Guide users on self-service tools and portal navigation
- Assist members in locating network dentists or assigning primary care dentists
- Appropriately route complex issues to relevant departments
- Research and resolve claims payment inquiries ensuring timely follow-up
- Maintain compliance with company policies and service standards
- Suggest process improvements and contribute to overall team success
