AP Team Lead (Functional)

Optotune is growing internationally active optics company with offices in Switzerland and Slovakia. We design manufacture and market cutting-edge adaptive optical elements for both industrial and consumer applications.

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Lead to drive excellence within our Group. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth AP operations functional leading a small team and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Tasks

• Overall Lead of Accounts Payables (AP) within Shared Service Center Accounting for all entities
• Responsible AP Automation Solution
• Booking of invoices
• Processing GR/IR
• Weekly Payment Runs
• Reconciliations of Accounts Payables
• Lead monthly/yearly closing Accounts Payables
• Functional lead of two AP Accountants
• Deputy AP/GL/AR

Requirements

• Education in Economics Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) within an international environment
• Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting principles and GAAP
• Solid understanding of VAT regulations and AP processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented
• Reliable self-motivated and proactive
• Ambitious curious and eager to grow professionally
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Slovak and English (both written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Previous experience as functional team lead is a plus
• 3 Years experience with SAP S/4HANA FI would be a plus
