Position: Maintenance Technician II
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m. 11:30 p.m.)

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician II ensures optimal performance of all production equipment and machinery through corrective and preventative maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting installing and repairing complex systems-including mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and robotic components-under the supervision of the Senior Maintenance Tech Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments blueprints and schematics.
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs replacements and preventive maintenance per schedule.
Install program and repair automated equipment including robots and PLC-controlled systems.
Operate tools such as lathes drill presses grinders welders and cutting torches to fabricate or repair parts.
Assemble install and maintain hydraulic pneumatic and pipe systems.
Accurately document all maintenance activities in the CMMS system.
Follow safety protocols wear PPE and report hazards promptly.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain a clean organized work area.
Additional Responsibilities
Use PLCs to troubleshoot and modify logic/control systems.
Mentor Level I Technicians on standard procedures and maintenance best practices.
Support continuous improvement by developing preventive and corrective maintenance SOPs.
Liaise with vendors and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
Remain flexible with overtime and shift changes to meet operational needs.
Required Qualifications
Education: 2 4 year technical degree OR 5 10 years of equivalent experience.
Experience: 2 5 years of preventive/corrective maintenance in plastics manufacturing specifically:
o Injection Molding
o Inline Sheet Extrusion
o Inline Thermoforming
o EPP / EPS Shape Molding
Strong understanding of robotics hydraulics pneumatics and controls integration.
Proficient in reading mechanical electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Skilled in using precision measurement tools and performing part inspections.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Demonstrated job stability across previous employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with:
o Haitian or JSW Injection Molding Machines
o Star Robots
o Lyle Thermoforming Systems
o Davis-Standard Extrusion Lines
o Akkaya EPP/EPS Molding Machines
o Una-Dyn or Novatec Material Handling Systems
CMMS data entry experience.
Forklift scissor-lift or boom-lift operator certification.
Strong computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.

Shift Differential: $1.00/hour
Interview Process: 1 on-site round at Cambro facility
Preferred Location: Candidates local to Mebane Greensboro or Raleigh-Durham NC
