The AWS Cloud Architect is responsible for designing implementing and managing secure scalable and cost effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to align cloud architecture with business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture Design
- Design and deploy highly available faulttolerant and scalable applications on AWS using services like EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC and CloudFront interviewguycom
- Migration Modernization
- Plan and execute migration of multitier applications and legacy systems to AWS cloud environments aabiancecom
- Infrastructure as Code IaC
- Implement IaC using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for automated provisioning and configuration FW Alignmquirements
- Security Compliance
- Apply AWS security best practices IAM encryption security groups and ensure compliance with standards like GDPR HIPAA or PCIDSS devto
- Cost Optimization
- Develop strategies for cost control and resource optimization using AWS pricing models and monitoring tools devto
- Collaboration Leadership
- Work closely with DevOps development teams and stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions and mentor team members on AWS best practices geeksforgeeksorg
- Monitoring Disaster Recovery

Required Skills:

- Expertise in cloud architecture principles networking and security
- Handson experience with Terraform CloudFormation and CICD pipelines
- Strong understanding of microservices serverless architectures and containerization Docker Kubernetes

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
