Job Summary

Desktop Administrator Chicago IL (Onsite)

6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2

We are looking for a reliable Desktop Administrator to support end-user devices in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting skills excellent customer service and the ability to manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for desktops laptops and peripherals.
Perform Windows imaging and troubleshooting (Windows XP/7/10/11).
Diagnose and resolve hardware software and connectivity issues.
Handle PC asset tasks including add move change update and reassignment of company-owned devices.
Support device refresh cycles and inventory updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and smooth operations.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Windows OS imaging rebuilding and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of end-user hardware support (desktops laptops monitors peripherals).
Ability to perform asset lifecycle tasks (IMAC/AMC).
Basic networking and system connectivity troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
Ability to work 100% onsite in Chicago IL.
