About the team
The Central Operations team works on driving day-to-day operations process improvements automation and reporting across all business lines at smallcase.
We collaborate closely with Product Customer Experience (CX) Business and Compliance teams by sharing relevant reports that capture on-ground issues and process gapshelping drive informed decisions and continuous improvements across the board.
About the role
As a Business Operations Associate you will play a key role in executing daily operations identifying process gaps and collaborating across teams to improve efficiency support business growth and contribute to product development from the ground up.
What youll be doing:
Collaborate with the internal (product technology compliance customer support) teams and external stakeholders to solve any blockers
Maintain daily/weekly/monthly trackers and reports to capture on-ground activities track performance metrics and provide visibility to relevant stakeholders
Contribute to product development by providing insights based on day-to-day operations/processes
Identify bottlenecks and process improvements and find solutions to them
Prepare and maintain documentation for operational procedures ensuring that processes are well-documented and easily accessible to team members
What we look for in you:
0-1 year of experience with an eagerness to learn and stay updated on operational practices
Proficiency in using MS Office applications particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and teams to drive the desired level of performance
Prior experience working in wealth tech or AMC space in mutual funds or US equities operations would be a plus
Nice to-haves:
Have a detail-oriented proactive diligent and self-disciplined mindset
Have time management skills and a strong sense of ownership to generate high-quality outputs
Have technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Have an eagerness to learn about the companys products and their capabilities.
Can equally comfortable with long-term planning and day-to-day progress tracking and execution
Can demonstrate the ability to analyze problems logically
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
