Pay: $21.35 / hour

Your Role:

As an OCB Crew Member you will be responsible for the quality and productivity in the operation of a bag making line consisting of a bag machine cartoner case packer & palletizer which produces various sizes of finished nylon cooking bags.

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

• Safely operate bag machine cartoner case packing machine & palletizer and log machine activity.
• Inspect/perform tests for quality issues related to seal integrity legible print finished product dimensions and other critical properties.
• Set-up bag making line and maintain log determine operating conditions make adjustments and correct malfunctions.
• Safely operate hand and fork truck when needed
• Perform other crew member functions deemed necessary by management.
• Perform general housekeeping.
• Willingness to cross train to advance skills

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Safety - Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out written instructions.
• Ability to retain and act on oral instructions.
• Ability to observe and read instruments gauges dials and make adjustments.
• Ability to estimate size and quantity of objects.
• Ability to constantly observe for quality defects as well as subtle problems with machine.
• Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Icing on the cake:

• Experience with packaging lines films etc
• Previous manufacturing experience.
