Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industrial gas processes for production of hydrogen carbon monoxide syngas and related products.
Aptitude for learning about new technologies. Must possess analytical curiosity to seek out and develop potential market-driven solutions
Knowledgeable of Local Federal and Global policies impacting the trajectory of low carbon fuels market in the longer term
Ability to spot and identify critical emerging trends early
Knowledge of key financial and econometric fundamentals (NPV IRR DCF and commodities markets)
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
Ability to champion new ideas and work across the organization to identify opportunities and deliver results
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across a wide audience internally and externally.

US HyCO has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer to support HYCOs low Carbon Intensity initiatives. This role will focus on sustainability low carbon intensity (CI) hydrogen and clean energy initiatives for the US HYCO organization. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role supporting the Large Projects Development organization that is in part tasked with winning new business in the emerging low CI hydrogen demand market.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities involve maintaining an up-to-date and high-quality tracking of the carbon intensity and sustainability performance of existing fleet developing strategies for reducing the carbon intensity of current fleet monetizing current carbon capture initiatives supporting BD in evaluating new technology and contract proposals and assess the impact of planned future projects on HYCO corporate targets.
Additionally the candidate will be expected to be knowledgeable in the production economics and distribution strategies of low CI hydrogen and fuels track market developmental evolutions and shifts research and develop analytical tools and models that will underpin Lindes approach to this strategic growth market. He/She will also provide market insights leveraging strong quantitative analytics skills and knowledge of hydrogen markets supply and demand balances and growth of clean energy technologies.
