About This Role
CAE is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Human Resources Generalist to join our Business Aviation team at our Dallas West location in the DFW area. This role is integral to our global HR function and offers a blend of strategic and hands-on responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee relations and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment as CAE continues to expand its leadership in aviation training and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations: Serve as a primary resource for employee relations matters including investigations and performance management. Provide expert guidance to leaders on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
HR Advisory Support: Deliver accurate and timely HR information to employees and managers. Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive and complex HR issues ensuring compliance with internal policies and employment laws.
Talent Acquisition Partnership: Collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers during the interview and selection process to ensure alignment with business needs.
Policy Development & Compliance: Contribute to the creation and implementation of HR policies. Interpret and communicate policy updates in accordance with federal state and local regulations.
Data & Reporting: Collect and analyze HR metrics to identify trends in employee relations retention and engagement. Present actionable insights to HR leadership.
Onboarding & Orientation: Support new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Workers Compensation: Assist with workers compensation claims and related documentation.
HR Projects: Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives and ad-hoc projects that support business and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of progressive hands-on HR experience with a strong track record in employee relations.
HR certification (PHR SHRM-CP etc.) is a plus.
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations (ADA FMLA EEOC etc.).
Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Teams).
Demonstrated integrity discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
DOT experience in aviation is a plus.
This is a full-time onsite role based in Dallas West TX.
