The Program Officer Digital Health will play a key role in supporting the operationalization of the projects digital health activities in Rajasthan. This includes stakeholder engagement consultations rollout of awareness campaigns and supporting ABDM objectives.

The role requires strong program management government liaison and coordination skills as well as familiarity with digital health systems policies and public health programs at the state and national level.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement

  • Liaise with key stakeholders including the Department of Health State PMU - ABDM and development partners.
  • Support the stakeholder convenings and review meetings.
  • Support large scale IEC/BCC campaigns for digital health initiatives

Program Implementation and Coordination

  • Supporting implementation of priority digital health activities and initiatives in the state
  • Coordinate with state district and local partner teams to ensure smooth execution of project milestones.
  • Provide operational support for state-level consultations workshops and partner engagements.
  • Support relevant state teams in capacity building for digital health including ABDM
  • Assist in rolling out training programs for staff and health workers digital health tools.
  • Promote local ownership and adoption of digital health solutions through continuous engagement and mentoring.

Documentation and Project Monitoring

  • Track project implementation progress and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document key learnings success stories and insights to inform policy and future scale-up.
  • Support monitoring of partner and vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and quality outputs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA and/or Masters degree in public policy public health healthcare management health informatics information technology or digital health.
  • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in digital health health systems strengthening or large-scale government program implementation.
  • Experience working with state/district health departments and familiarity with ABDM NHM programs and digital health initiatives.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience in capacity building monitoring or data management is desirable.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with digital health platforms preferred.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi (written and spoken) is required.
