Promote high-quality SAP ABAP development
In this role you will manage ABAP development activities for our SAP S/4HANA system ensuring high-quality scalable solutions that support global business processes. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams guide technical standards and contribute to our transformation journey.
Your responsibility will be to:
- Lead ABAP development aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design and maintain custom programs reports and interfaces
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Support migration integration and upgrade activities
Youll work closely with global teams across Europe. The role is based in Chennai (G3C) and may involve occasional International travel.
Experienced SAP ABAP leader with global mindset
Were looking for a structured problem solver who thrives in a collaborative setting. Youre a person who manages responsibilities communicates clearly and inspires others through mentorship and technical leadership. You enjoy balancing practical development with strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
You also have:
- 812 years of SAP ABAP experience including 35 years in a lead role
- Advanced knowledge of ECC and S/4HANA custom development and integration
- Extensive knowledge of interface technologies (IDoc OData Web Services)
- Experience mentoring teams and enforcing coding standards
- Exposure to SAP C4C or eCommerce integration.
