We are seeking a Regional HR Operations Manager for LATAM to join our Global HR Operations Team a hands-on leadership role critical to enhancing HR service delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region. This position involves leading 9 HR and Payroll professionals in managing comprehensive HR services such as HR Administration Benefits Administration Recruitment Coordination Compliance Regulatory Reporting and strategic HR projects.
This role is hands-on requiring direct involvement in operational activities coaching and mentoring team leaders and team members and applying functional knowledge to improve processes and outcomes. Day to Day
Operational Excellence: Ensure the timely and accurate execution of all HR Operational processes for employees in Latam adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Lead initiatives to streamline processes enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Hands-On Leadership and Development: Actively lead and participate in HR and payroll operations demonstrating best practices and guiding the team through complex challenges. Coach and mentor team members fostering skills development and a culture of learning and accountability. Cultivate a culture of growth inclusivity and high performance within the HR Operations team.
Strategic and Operational HR Management:Implement and oversee HR initiatives with a hands-on approach ensuring alignment with global strategies and operational excellence. Apply deep functional knowledge to optimize HR services including policy implementation benefits administration and recruitment processes.
Process Standardization: Working with your regional counterparts establish standard operating processes that deliver consistent ways of working across all HR Operations that deliver excellent employee experiences.
Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR and employment legislation and compliance requirements in Latam. Implement risk management strategies to safeguard against operational errors and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations. Promote an ethical workplace integrating our core values into every aspect of HR operations and decision-making.
Benefits Management: Lead the company Benefits Committee. Develop strategic and tactical solutions that achieve the necessary balance between employee impact and cost to the business. Ensure that the benefits administration is operating effectively. Provide technical support and guidance to the benefits coordinator.
Management of Vendor Relationships:Manage the operational business relationships with service providers to HR in your region. Ensure contractual compliance and assess vendor performance to guarantee high-quality service delivery. Work with relevant procurement colleagues and HR Operations Leadership to negotiate contracts.
HR Operations Leadership:As a member of the Global HR Operations Leadership Team (HR Ops LT) contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and functional direction. Actively represent the interests of the Latam business within the HR Ops LT and represent HR Operations as part of the DLL Latam HR leadership team.
Analytics and Reporting:Ensure consistent high-quality data in our primary source systems. Utilize (operational) data analytics to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks process improvements and opportunities for automation.

Essentials
Educational Background: Bachelors degree level education ideally in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
Professional Experience: Minimum 6 years in HR Operations with 3 years in a leadership role preferably within a large diverse and changing environment in Latam. This experience will include most or all of the following
Functional Proficiency: In depth understanding of processes development and delivery in an HR Operations environment. Knowledge of federal state and local HR laws in the USA and Canada.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in HR Shared Services methodologies leveraging technology for enhanced employee experiences. Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud would be particularly beneficial although experience with other leading cloud-based platforms such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactors is also valued.
Achievement-Oriented: Evidence of significant contributions to payroll efficiency compliance enhancements or cost-saving initiatives in previous roles.
Soft Skills and Cultural Alignment: Excellent communication empathy and leadership skills. Strong partnership and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
