Overview

To identify and intervene with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes. Social workers provide services to children adolescents and adult patients/families/staff at Childrens Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members.

This role will support patients and families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree MSW from Accredited Program and 1-2 years experience
  • One of the following: Licensed Masters Social Worker KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed Masters Social Worker MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO required upon hire
  • Employees must obtain Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO or equivalent within 30 days
  • Employees must obtain Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS or equivalent within 90 days
  • Employees must obtain Licensed Masters Social Worker KS or equivalent within 90 days
  • LMSW KS Licensed Masters Social Worker KS must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
  • LMSW MO Licensed Masters Social Worker MO must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
  • LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
  • LSCSW KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
