Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Industrial Control Panel Technicians for a company located in Suwanee!

Qualifications for Industrial Control Panel Technicians:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

Electrical Engineering degree of 3-5 years of verifiable experience is required.
Must have experience using a soldering iron.
UL508A certification or other relevant certification preferred.
Ability to work independently and engage in effective decision making.
Must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Must possess strong ability to read wiring schematics.
Must possess strong knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams symbols engineering drawings and layout drawings for electrical system.
Must possess strong knowledge of basic workshop practices engineering materials conduit and wiring.
Must possess knowledge of engineering calculations associates with current carrying capacity of cables wires fuses and other circuit protective devices.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Industrial Control Panel Technicians:

Build and wire electrical control panels.
Completes point-to-point wiring and installs a variety of electronic and electromechanical components.
Works from schematics bills of material hand-written notes and written verbal instructions.
May have to determine the method of sequence of assembly operations.
Utilizes small hand tools such as sire strippers crimpers wrenches screwdrivers pliers and soldering irons.
Reach drawings blueprints electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Use good judgement when dimensions or tolerances seem inconsistent or unworkable.
Communicate directly with Quality Engineers and Supervisors.
Communicate with customers regarding various projects.
Use safety equipment and protective devices and equipment.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM

Pay Rate: $22.00-24.00/hour depending on experience
