Job Summary
About the role
Our client a specialist in pressure pipe vessel and structural steel fabrication is seeking experienced Pipe Welders and Fitters for ongoing workshop-based projects in Brisbanes southern suburbs. Youll fabricate fit and weld to ASME IX standards using GTAW and STT processes ensuring accuracy quality and safety.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualified Pipe Welder or Fitter (Cert III)
- Strong GTAW & STT welding ability
- Duplex stainless steel experience is highly regarded
- Read & interpret fabrication drawings accurately
- Must hold full Australian working rights
Tickets & Licences
- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication or equivalent)
- ASME IX Welding Qualification
- Forklift HRWL (preferred)
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol before starting
- Ability to pass weld tests
Benefits
- Pipe Welders: $56/hr penalties OT
- Fitters: $53/hr penalties OT
