Job Summary

**Job Responsibilities**

- Make sure all technical information about the items worked on by the Repair Station is safe and up-to-date. This includes important documents like maintenance manuals repair guides and safety bulletins.

- Check the systems and parts of aircraft to ensure they work well and meet government (FAA and NAVAIR) and company rules.

- Inspect the installation and repair of electrical systems hydraulic systems fuel systems and others on the aircraft.

- Review changes and repairs made to the aircraft following specific technical guidelines and manuals.- Keep the Repair Station Manual Quality Control Manual and Training Manual updated.

- Inspect all incoming materials and parts.

- Check machined parts welds and electrical connections for quality.- Be good at reading blueprints and understanding shop math.

**Skills Needed**

- You should have 5 to 10 years of experience as an A&P mechanic in corporate aviation.

- Be friendly and able to connect with customers.

- Able to work in tight spaces like fuel tanks.

- Use inspection tools mirrors and flashlights for checking.

- Be able to climb kneel and stand for inspections.

- Have a clean driving record to operate a vehicle for the job.

- Be comfortable using computers especially Microsoft Office.

- Have basic math skills.

- Be focused on achieving results.

- Be good at managing your time.

**Education and Experience Required**

- High School Diploma or GED along with at least 10 years of experience in aviation.

- Hold an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

- Having an Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate is a plus.

- Understand quality management system standards like AS9100 and AS9110.

- Be familiar with FAA regulations and maintenance systems.

- Be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.

**Additional Requirements**

- Pass a background check.

- Participate in drug and alcohol testing as part of the DOT program.
